Kara – ‘Jumping’ Sparkly Make-up Tutorial

Korean make-up artist Jung Saem Mool is an expert in Korean celebrity make up, and she shows you how to achieve the look in the video below.

“Hallyu stars Kara have released their fourth mini-album called ‘Jumping’, where they showcase a more mature look. Their make-up looks main features are: their shiny smooth skin, and bejeweled eyelashes. First, use foundation and concealer to cover skin imperfections. Then, a blush and shimmer highlighter for luster and depth. Apply shading powder under your cheekbones for a faint shadow. Use eyeliner and beige shadow to create long lines along your top and bottom lashes. For the main effect, use different types of lashes, including those with a touch of pearls/jewels along the bottom lash line for added texture. Finish off with nude/pink lip gloss with a touch of pearls and your ‘Jumping’ sexy but youthful makeup is now complete!”

The Victory of The Youngest Maknae

It's been a long time i have neglected this blog. I'm so sorry guys. 

There's something that i must done this months. I'm so exhausted!!! 

But i'm still trying to bring this blog to life. Kekekekeke....

Yesterday i just knew that the youngest maknae of Big Bang had launch his mini album, VVIP. And he released 2 music video, "What Can I do" and "V.V.i.P". And he did a comeback stage on Mnet Countdown last night.

Personally, i think he so cute, the cutest maknae of entire kpop groups. Kekekeke.. He's just like a prince charming. In his new music video, i saw that he's definetely gained so much progress of his singing skills, and ofcourse his dancing skills is impressed many people from the very beggining of Big Bang debut. His singing skills is so much improved since his last solo album, included Strong baby. 

We have seen Seungri's and GD TOP debut for the last two months. And now, can you imagine how great that Big Bang will comeback on February?? It's gonna be HUGE !! It's gonna be AWESOME !! It's gonna be a BIG BANG VICTORY in kpop industry !! It's gonna VIP !!

I Love 2NE1 so much.

so yess, i am a BlackJacks !! 

BlackJack is named of 2NE1 fanbase.

The girls has their own unique style and power. CL is the leader is really powerful rap, just like GD the leader of Big Bang who also really a powerful rapper.Park Bom is the main vocal who has really beautiful voices, so unique and she definetely has a high pitch. Sandara Park, wooot, she has many fanboys including artist too, she can rap, she can sing, she can dance and she's so beautiful. Minzy, this girl is a dance machine!! Really good in dancing and rapping !!

♥ Honey Thighs ♥

The term “Honey thighs,”  which isn’t a derogatory term in modern Korean culture (well I don’t think so) – although some netizens have found controversy with the term, as you can read HERE via All K Pop- instead, it’s a high compliment praising women who have immaculate ,thin looking thighs with no cellulite. K-Poppers blessed with “Honey Thighs,” include (the queen of Honey Thighs) UEE from Afterschool, Tiffany from SNSD (Girl’s Generation) and Hyuna of 4-Minute. Humph, people can call me Honey Thighs any day if it’s such a compliment!

♥ Ulzzang ♥

the Korean craze of Ulzzangs; you can read a full description of the meaning behind this look HERE, but in its simplest Korean to English translation it just means “best face.” However, don’t let these simple words define the, sometimes strange, culture of Ulzzang(ing?) as to look Ulzzang you must have BIG pupils, double eye-lids, fair/white skin, and a ‘cute’ nose and mouth- also, guys can be considered one too. If you google “Ulzzang,” you’ll find many tutorials on how to look like an Ulzzang, and here’s where the strange side of things comes in, because, there are some girls out there who aren’t natural Ulzzangs, but use heavy make up and even Photoshop to achieve the look. If you just google “Before and After Ulzzang” you’ll find some scary pictures. Furthermore, at times, they looks like manga girls come  to life, which just screams “Fetish!” to me. Lastly, the best Ulzzangs in Korea, in my opinion, are those who are naturally beautiful in this way and it seems that Korean culture agrees with me on this one, as many people have become famous simply for having an Ulzzang face- as you can see from the pics I’ve included above!

♥ Circle Lenses ♥

Part of the DNA of being or looking like an Ulzzang are having big pupils- circles lenses, help you achieve that look by being a contact lens which really overemphasis and creates a bigger looking pupil, you can see some before and after pics of using the lenses HERE. Some Korean stars use these lenses on a daily basis- to the point that, without them, they look like a whole other person!

♥ Eye Smile ♥

In Korean culture, an eye smile occurs when you smile and your eyes naturally arch into a half-moon shape. In layman terms, you smile, but your eyes end up half squinting at the same time! Which rather seems odd when Koreans go to great lengths to make their eyes appear bigger and even have surgery to do so- all that effort gone to waste. But to be honest, I love me a Korean eye smile any day, since it seems to convey beauty, innocence and friendliness all in one go (I wish I had an eye smile, rather than a stink eye LOL), and you too can achieve an eye smile -even me- just smile and really squint, hard. I’m of course joking because if you try doing so you might come off looking fake, crazy or even show too much teeth, but come on, whose to say these Korean celebs aren’t practicing their “eye smiles” in such a way at home, in front of the mirror? 

♥ Aegyo-Sal ♥

Well, as strange as it may seem to us Non-Koreans who have a daily battle to get rid of our eye bags, South Koreans are actually fighting hard to gain some and if they don’t have any, they’ll ‘make’ some by surgery; but, hold on a minute, they don’t want just any kind of tired eye-bags, oh no my friends, they want some “Aegyo-Sal.” Eye bags that aren’t the dark, droopy ones we know of but little plump eye bags-. My question here though, is if you have Aegyo-Sal and get dark eye bags, will that mean you’ll get double the eye bags? Not a good look if so! Apparently these Aegyo-Sal babies mean the difference between normal looking eyes and eyes that look youthful and ‘charming’- looking at the above “With or without Aegyo-Sal” picture, do you think this rings true? For me, Aegyo-Sal is something very unique to Korea, and I’ve never seen a Korean without them. Looking at the above pictures, they do seem to make a bit of a difference by making people appear more youthful etc, but don’t these qualities all just tie in with the Korean love of Ulzzang type beauty?

GD & TOP in "HGH HIGH" fashion at World Premiere

Big Bang’s G-Dragon and T.O.P had their world premiere held in M-PUB, and was also broadcasted live on their official YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/bigbang) on the 14th of December 2010.

At the premiere, G-Dragon and T.O.P introduced the tracks for the duo’s newest album, including “Oh Yeah”, “High High”, “What do you want me to do”, “Oh mom” and more. Other than their music, their fashion sense was also a topic of the day. Both GD and T.O.P appeared in similar black leather jackets and Christian Louboutin black high-cut sneakers, with GD piling on his gold accessories (like the gold necklace which represents GTOP).

There was also the release of their music video for “High High,” which was filmed at a club in Itaewon, featuring surprise appearances by other YG Entertainment artists.

Melon Music Awards 2010 Red Carpet

Mini dresses, shocking new hairstyles, electric colors, furs, and stylish suits were the main theme for the attendees of Melon Music Awards 2010 red carpet held on 15th December 2010 at the Hall of Peace in Kyunghee University.

Celebrities who walked the red carpet include, Girls’ Generation, 2NE1, Gummy, C.N. Blue, 2AM, IU, and many more. Check out the pictures below :

 Girls’ Generation appeared in stylish, color-coordinated (black, white and luminous yellow) outfits for the red carpet. Finally we are able to see all members, Seo Hyun, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Jessica, Taeyeon, Sunny and Hyoyeon, all in different outfits (not just their while or black mini dresses). Most of the members are spotting pieces from a Korean designer.

Next up, the fashionista girl group, 2NE1, strutted down the red carpet spotting shocking new hairstyles (especially Sandara Park’s feminine bob cut) and truly different looks for every member.

Minzy was spotted in an all-black outfit with red Azzedine Alaïa Pony Hair Hiking Boots (that has been worn for many performances and variety shows). CL was seen in a cyan-colored trench coat, Park Bom was dressed very sexily in that black mini dress, fur outercoat and Christian Louboutin Clou Noeud 150 studded slingbacks. Sandara Park surprised the crowd with her feminine bob hairstyle and girlish outfit.

 Gummy also wow-ed the crowd with her new hairstyle and her strong overall look.

2AM and C.N. Blue walked the red carpet in their coordinated suits.
